Rhea County High School would like to encourage our community to recognize and congratulate Cadet Captain Ruth Brown for winning the essay contest sponsored by the Sons of the American Revolution.
c/CPT Brown won the District and State level competitions for the essay contest, resulting in a medal as well as scholarship funds for college, and has been advanced to the national competition where her essay will be compared with essays all across America for a shot at being awarded even more scholarship money for college, as well as national recognition for exceptional writing and scholarship.
If you see c/CPT Brown, be sure to let her know that you are rooting for her to be the national winner, and that you are proud of her for being a wonderful representative for Rhea County High School!
