After winning the TSSAA District 5 Championship last December, the Golden Eagles bowling teams (boys and girls) competed in the state tournament for the 6th straight year for the boys team and 3rd straight year for the girls team.

In the tournament play in Columbia, the Lady Eagles finished as the region champions, and will host the sub-state round at Crystal Lanes in Dayton this Friday, January 12.

The boys team finished as the runner-up in the region, and they will be on the road at Green Hill (Hermitage Strike and Spare) on January 13 to play in the sub-state round.

Both teams have had stellar seasons, and, should they win this round, will play for the state tournament title on January 18-19 in Smyrna.
